Putting the roof panels in place is a REALLY interesting process…..lots of hands….lots of lifting and bamboo poles to help you reach that high.  Lots of “panel coming up”,  “move to the left one inch”, “watch that pole”, up a smidgen”, that’s perfect.

WE DID IT!!!!! And in record time according to our construction superintendent, Larry.  Notice  the contented look on his face as he surveys his project.

As we broke for lunch our conservative, conventional pastor led us in prayer, thanking God for our safety and our food.

After lunch we put up the last panel of the roof.   Note all the helping hands!  With so much cooperation a long project was completed in three and one-half days!

Now comes the fun part.  The teenage girls were flirting madly with the new Jackson “Bieber”.  We had a lot of fun with that.  What a sweet “pretty in pink” is this little munchkin.  She was having a wonderful time posing and primping for her appreciative audience.  Recess is a tremendous time on equipment donated by another mission organization in the U.S.  God works in wonderful ways!  The day finished off with an impromptu soccer game out in the back yard.

All in all, it was a wonderful week, watching God work in little and big ways, having fun and the satisfaction of serving and finishing the designated task.
